Virtual Small Group Book Discussions

"But I don't have a black-owned bookstore near me."

Many black-owned or small businesses now offer shipping, so it doesn't really matter where they are. But, if you do want to browse in-person, here's a great starting-point: https://www.oprahdaily.com/entertainment/books/a33497812/black-owned-bookstores/

My ActionHoCo print collection was purchased through these black-owned bookstores: Mahogany Books https://www.mahoganybooks.com

"But I don't have time."

Make time. You bing-watched "Game of Thrones," you can make time. Read the book(s). All book discussions are two hours and use Zoom breakout rooms to create the small groups. Virtual doors open at 6:45pm. We start together as a large group (7-7:10pm), briefly return to large group at the half-way point (7:50-8pm) and conclude as a large group (8:40-9pm). All times are Eastern.
